Our 2014 photography tour will be small and special. Number of participants will be limited in order to allow personal attention from David Bathgate. It will be 12 days of touring and exploring with plenty of time for tuition, critique & evaluation. We will experience a diversity of colours and cultures, exquisite views and delicious cuisine.
Here are some kind testimonials from participants of 2013 tour (much appreciated, thank you):
…”The photography workshop was truly wonderful!
We visited and photographed a variety of landscapes and people; Amritsar, with it’s busy street life, markets, The Golden Temple on all it’s splendor and devotees and the border ceremony. Basunti, with it’s exquisite landscapes and gardens and welcoming villagers around. And last but not least, the busy Tibetan town of MG, where HH The Dali Lama has his residence.
It was culturally diverse – Sikh, Indian, Tibetan – as was the scenery.
David encouraged and led us through the various challenges: portraits, movements, landscapes, different lighting conditions – we had them all. We spent the evenings critiquing our daily creations, which was incredibly helpful and informing.
Thank you David, I feel much more confident with my image taking and it seems you managed to get me hooked!!”…
…”BEST PHOTOS EVER! GREAT COLORS, GREAT LIGHT, INTERESTING COMPOSITIONS AND EXCITING “MOMENTS.” NOT TO MENTION THE GREAT ORGANIZATION, GREAT ROOMS, WONDERFUL FOOD, WELCOMING RESORT OWNERS AND LOT´S OF FUN!
That’s the photography workshop instructed by professional photographer, David Bathgate, at Basunti Resort in North India. David was always open to giving advice, suggestions and support. The workshop was very personal, helpful, motivating and colorful – all with beautiful India as the backdrop to it all! Jeep safaris, canoe tours and hiking through the foothills of the Indian Himalaya. Enjoyed it immensely. Highly recommended!”…
