From the moment our small group of artists arrived at Basunti, we worked prolifically – painting the landscape and the array of plant life in the garden, being clearly very much inspired by the beauty and colours that surrounded us.  During lovely cool evenings we looked at the work produced, sharing our thoughts and ideas…beer in hand.

But it wasn’t all work and no play; leisure time was spent relaxing by the pool, swimming, walking and doing a spot of yoga here and there. And in between painting sessions the staff and hosts at Basunti fed us with delicious home cooked meals.  We were made to feel incredibly welcome – you couldn’t ask for a more perfect place for a painting holiday.  Thank you everyone at Basunti for hosting us for another week of magic.
