A Monsoon Wedding and an Irresistible Photography Opportunity

By boat to a wedding across the lake, a beautiful journey with only a few goats and a troupe of monkeys for company.

Was greeted by the usual riot of colour and noise, with sometimes three different sources of music all happening at once.

Exceptional food consisting of mixed dal, mutter paneer, chick peas, aloo tikkas and cauliflower & tomato sauce kofta to die for. All this was accompanied by industrial quantities of curry leaf flavoured rice and if anyone still had room, gulab jamuns for afters.

No rain all day meant the wedding was truly blessed.
