Bugs and beasties at Basunti

Spent the day gardening as it was such a perfect day for it. 23C, bright and sunny with the mountains glistening over the lake and a cool breeze off the water.
Came across something when I was moving rocks that I have read about but never seen before. A mother scorpion, about 5 centimetres long, covered with her babies, amazing sight. I moved her from the rockery, which was a bit close to the swimming pool and placed her carefully in a large pile of leaves in the jungle.
Turned over and mulched some new vegetable beds and planted more Beetroot, Red Mustard Salad and Wild Rocket.
